Welcome to the Edgewater Alliance Church Membership Class! We're glad you have made a decision for this important step in your faith journey.
The purpose of this class is to prepare you to become a member of Edgewater Alliance Church (EAC). We will examine membership using six core questions - (1) Why become a member? (2) Who are we? (3) What do we believe? (4) What is our purpose? (5) How do we prepare to serve and glorify God? and (6) Once prepared, how do we respond to His call?
This class involves eight brief video lessons, accompanied by a set of class notes and the EAC Member Handbook. For this class, you'll also want to have your Bible handy and something to take notes and jot down questions. Before you begin the lessons, we encourage you to take advantage of the class notes document. Print the notes or just download them for easy reference. In addition, you will want to have your own copy of the EAC Member Handbook. If you want a hardcopy of the handbook, please contact the church office at (386) 427-0385 or email@example.com, and request that a hardcopy of the Member Handbook either be mailed to you or you can stop by the office and pick it up.
To get started, have your notes and handbook ready, and then simply go to Lesson 1, click on the image and the video will open and play. Once you’ve completed all eight lessons just click the "I’m done" button below. You will then hear from someone on our leadership team to finalize your official Membership to Edgewater Alliance Church. God bless you!
Welcome to the Edgewater Alliance Church Preparation for Baptism Class. We're glad you have made a decision for this important step in your faith journey.
The purpose of this class is to prepare you for Christian Baptism at Edgewater Alliance Church (EAC). We will examine baptism from three perspectives - Christian Baptism overall; Baptism in the Alliance Community; and Baptism at EAC. The class involves just this one lesson with the 14-minute video and accompanying handout.
For this class, you'll want to have your Bible handy. We also have a handout document that you can use to follow along with the video lesson. You can download the handout document here.
Finally, we also encourage you to jot down any questions that you have as you watch the video so that when we meet to discuss the class later on, we can answer your questions. At that time, we'll also discuss plans for your baptism itself.
To get started, have your handout ready, and then simply click on the video below and it will begin to play. To finish, just click "I'm done" below.
